Here at Tiftarea Pediatrics, we strive to offer high quality healthcare for all children ages 0-21 years. We believe that children require special, individualized care and cannot simply be treated as little adults. We strive to treat each child just as we would our own children. Tiftarea Pediatrics is a Pediatric primary care office offering a variety of healthcare services for children ages 0-21 years.
We offer prenatal visits, well child checks, vaccinations, sports physicals, sick visits, ADHD treatment and consultation, and so much more. No matter your child’s healthcare needs, we are here to go above and beyond to make your experience personable and individualized to your child. We would love to be your Pediatric home.

Meet Our Team
Mark Wilson
Dr. Mark Wilson graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He attended the American University of the Caribbean in Saint Martin where he received his M.D. in 2010. Dr. Wilson completed his residency training at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia in 2013. Dr. Wilson has been serving patients in the Tifton area since 2014. He resides in Tifton with his wife, Bessy Wilson, and three children. Dr. Wilson has an active Georgia medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Bessy Wilson
Bessy Wilson received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2007 from Georgia Southern University. She worked as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse from 2007-2011 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama in 2011, specializing in Pediatrics. She holds a current Georgia Advanced Practice License as well as Pediatric Certification by the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board. She resides in Tifton with her husband, Dr. Mark Wilson, and their three children.
